Young Plants - Cold Nights

It's great to buy seedlings now, while a full selection is available, but beware where you put them at night!

Tender annuals, such as impatiens, basil, and tomato, cannot tolerate even “cool” overnight temperatures. Keep these little ones under wraps, or indoors, until night-time temps are well above freezing–into the 40s F.
