Our vegetable growers at Russell's widen our selection each year to accommodate for the ever changing interest in local and sustainable food production. We offer certified organics, heirlooms, and conventional varieties to bring diversity to your garden. The Russell's Veggie Team is here to help with any questions or concerns and to assist you with selecting just the right plants for your garden.
Selections of fresh herb plants are available year-round at Russell's, but the widest variety of herbs are available in the spring and summer months. For more information about specific herbs ask our friendly staff. We will advise you about growing and using the fresh herbs that you find at Russell's.

In the Greenhouse....
Our team of growers are busy sowing the seeds
of veggie garden greatness! Most of the vegetable seedings we offer for sale are started right here
in our greenhouses. You will find both Certified Organic, (we have been OMRI Certified for 21 years!)
as well as, conventional options. See the list of
veggies and varieties we are scheduled to grow
below, then start your own garden plans!
In addition to this list we also bring in other veggie varieties so always ask our team if you are looking for something special.
Currently, The BIG E is open and filled with lush plants that will deliver delicious and nutritious
eats to your family! While temps are still on the cool side, we recommend you hold off planting
hot weather veggies like cukes and tomatoes until our temperatures remain consistently above
60º and there is no threat of frost. Our team is onsite to help you with any questions.
